“Vortex” by Mickael Chatelain & Andre Previato is an impossible and inexplicable effect that will make their brains explode.
A Tic-Tac box is opened up and your participant is given the one candy remaining inside of it. You also show them how a card box is completely empty.
The participant then takes a marker and creates a unique mark on the Tic-Tac, which is then placed at the bottom of the card case. Once again, the card case is clearly shown around so everyone can see the Tic-Tac at the bottom of it. You then close the Tic-Tac case and seal it inside the card case.
Then, a second later, without any sleight of hand or suspicious moves, you open the card case to reveal that the Tic-Tac box is still closed. However, the signed Tic-Tac is now inside. Everything is now examinable.
