Two Deck Dave by Jack Tighe (Instant Download)
Experience the magic of Two Deck Dave, an exclusive instant download from Big Blind Media. This video tutorial reveals a sleight-free, self-working routine that will leave your audience in awe. Perfect for close-up magic, this routine combines simplicity with a powerful finish.
What You’ll Learn:
- Any Card At Any Number Routine: A Max Maven-inspired method that requires no sleight of hand, yet delivers a stunning conclusion every time.
- Two Decks, One Unbelievable Outcome: Use a red and a blue deck to create a mind-blowing reveal that feels impossible.
- Fully Automated Performance: The spectator does all the work, making this routine perfect for impromptu performances.
How It Works:
Begin by presenting the red and blue decks. The red deck has a number (1-52) written on the back of each card. Your spectator freely throws down a pile of red cards, even mixing them if they wish. They then create two face-down piles and choose one card to flip face up. The face-up card (e.g., the 7 of Clubs) and the number on the face-down card (e.g., 16) are revealed.
Finally, the spectator counts to the 16th card in the untouched blue deck—matching the 7 of Clubs! This effortless, yet powerful routine is sure to become a staple in your performances.

A BBM EXCLUSIVE VIDEO DOWNLOAD – A truly brilliant ‘Any Card At Any Number’ that uses a Max Maven subterfuge to create a self working routine that plays like a CLOSER!
You bring out a red and a blue deck and place the blue one aside (in full view of your spectator). The red deck is then shown to have a number between 1 and 52 written on the back of each card. You ask your spectator to throw down a pile of red cards (even mixing the deck if they want). Whenever they feel like it they stop and then create two facedown piles from the cards they have. Now they choose to flip one of the cards atop a pile face up.
All this mixing and messing has ended with a card face up (say the 7 of Clubs) and a card face down with a number written on the back (say 16).
Now you draw attention to the blue deck that has lain untouched since the start of this little experiment. They take those cards themselves and count down to the 16th one. Wouldn’t you know it – it’s the 7 of clubs!
This sleight-free handling may be super easy to do, but boy is it powerful.
