Step back in time with The Conjurer, the legendary monthly publication that served as the official organ of the Australian Society of Magicians and the New Zealand Magical Societies. Launched in January 1922, The Conjurer filled the void left by the cessation of the Magic Mirror. It ran for 24 issues before temporarily suspending publication in June 1924 (Vol. 3 No. 5). Briggs then embarked on a new venture with Magic in Australia, only to revive The Conjurer in September 1925 (Vol. 4, No. 1) for an additional five issues. The final issue in January 1927 (Vol. 4, No. 5) marked the end of an era, as Briggs announced his plans for the Australian Magic News.

In total, The Conjurer produced 29 issues, each filled with captivating content for magic enthusiasts. The magazine was resurrected once more in January 1934 as The Conjurer (new series), continuing its legacy as a cornerstone of magical literature.
