The Effect
A card is selected and signed by a spectator, then returned to the deck. The deck is placed back into the card case. You explain that you will use the spade from the center of the card box to locate their signed card. In the blink of an eye, the SPADE vanishes from the card box. The deck is removed, and the SAME BOX is handed to the spectator—FULLY EXAMINABLE. As the cards are dealt one by one, all backs are shown. Suddenly, one card reveals a spade on its back—yes, it’s the SIGNED CARD!
