A boxed deck of cards is handed to the spectator.
The performer writes something on a piece of paper，this is placed in full view the entire time.
The spectator is asked to choose a number， then instructed to take the cards out of the box and have a look through just to verify its a normal well mixed deck.
The spectator is asked to deal down the number that they chose.
Once they have dealt down to their chosen number the card is turned over to reveal that it matches the performers prediction.
