Description
Nick Conticello concludes his groundbreaking series with a performance that will leave both lay audiences and seasoned magicians utterly astonished. In The Cerebral Approach – Book Six: Lucky Locator, Nick introduces an effect that is as ingenious as it is simple to execute.
Here’s how it works: Using a shuffled, borrowed deck, the performer identifies a “lucky locator card” after reviewing the deck. Following some shuffling, a volunteer cuts the pack, counts off ten cards, and quietly chooses one of them. After burying these cards back into the deck and performing a final cut, the performer retrieves the lucky locator card. They then begin to describe this card to the participant. Occasionally, the locator card is the one chosen by the participant. If this isn’t the case, the performer spells out a descriptor, such as “black Queen” or “red Diamond”, with the last card of the spelling revealing the chosen card.
This trick requires no sleights and no preparation, making it an ideal opener or a standalone feature in your magic repertoire! Whether you’re performing at a party or on stage, this effect is guaranteed to captivate and mystify your audience.
