Here’s how it works: You start by claiming to have a prediction. Remove the four aces from a red deck and set them aside. Ask your spectator to think of any card value (not the suit). For example, let’s say they think of a 4. Next, they mix the four aces and lay them out in a row. Each ace represents a suit, and they select one ace freely—no force, no tricks. Suppose they pick the heart. In a seemingly impossible yet entirely fair manner, they have selected the 4 of hearts.
Now, spread the same deck across the table face up. Among all the cards, there is one and only one card that stands out—the 4 of Hearts. When you remove and flip it over, it’s the only card with a blue back. It sounds impossible, it looks impossible, but with the Ship Deck, it’s entirely possible!
