The Ultimate Bank Night – Yours, Mine & The Mystery by Paul Martin and Jamie Raven
This routine that has been kept a closely guarded secret for over a decade, but is now finally being released for you all to enjoy.
Developed by full time professionals Paul Martin and Jamie Raven, this is the Ultimate in Bank Night routines.
Performed by Paul Martin at corporate and private events all over the world, and used by Jamie Raven as his opening routine when headlining The Illusionists at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London as well as his 4 sell out UK tours. This is Paul and Jamie’s personal go to favourite routine.
The spectator is offered a chance to win £5 (or any small amount in any currency). All they have to do to win it, is to correctly choose which of the 3 envelopes on display it is inside. They are also told that there is something else inside each of the other envelopes and regardless of their decision, they can keep whatever is inside of the envelope that they choose if it isn’t the £5. The spectator makes a completely free choice of any of the 3, this is then opened to reveal inside £5 which they have won and can keep.
To prove there was only one £5 in one of the envelopes, the other 2 are opened. Inside one of which is £500 and in another is a cheque for £10,000.
Remember, the spectator could keep whatever was inside the envelope that they choose!!! But the magician can always control the outcome, and then cleanly show all envelopes as empty once the prizes have been removed.
This is 5 minutes of brilliant comedy and magic that turns the Bank Night routine as you know it on its head. Easy to do, and a must for any serious performer looking to add a professional, worked, routine to their cabaret set or show.
