Using the cards as a blank canvas, the participant imagines they can see details of their chosen card piece by piece, as Ran reveals that he can see what they are seeing in their imagination. He now asks the participant to imagine they see the whole image of their card on the final blank card. As this card is displayed, the spectator will "hallucinate" briefly and actually see their card for a split second, only to discover that all the cards are still just blanks.
