The What
A red deck and a blue deck are introduced. The red deck is handed out to be shuffled among many spectators while the magician shuffles the blue deck and then shows groups of cards to a spectator who remembers a single card. That spectator then shuffles the blue deck. The red deck is collected and put on top of the box. Another spectator names any number.
