The Reaper, created by Peter Nardi, is a captivating effect involving Tarot cards.
Your spectator is given five Tarot cards to shuffle, while you mix five of your own. You then place one of your cards face down on the table, and the spectator is invited to choose any one of their cards, also face down.
It's important that they pick a card that feels right to them.
When both cards are revealed, they are a perfect match! But it doesn't stop there—when the remaining cards are turned over, all of the spectator's cards are revealed to be the Death card, signifying that they managed to avoid a grim fate against all odds.
