A packet is taken off the bottom of the deck, shuffled, and put on top of the deck. The deck is cut again, and the card is hopelessly lost in the deck. The spectator thinks of any magic word they want and then spells their word, turning over a card for each letter in their magic word. Impossibly, the card they spell to is exactly their card.
