Description & Effect

Prepare to elevate your mentalism and magic performances with 'Chairs' by Josh Zandman, a masterfully crafted routine now available as a digital download. This isn't just another prediction trick; it's an experience designed to leave your audience utterly astounded and questioning reality. Zandman's 'Chairs' provides a compelling, impromptu chair routine that defies conventional expectations, making it a must-have for serious performers.

The Ultimate Spectator Prediction

Imagine this: seven chairs are arranged on stage. A volunteer from your audience is invited up and given a completely free choice to sit in any one of them. They can change their mind as many times as they wish, truly making their selection without any perceived influence. Once their decision is final, the chosen chair is revealed to hold a single envelope. Inside, a $20 bill awaits, bearing the uncanny prediction, 'You will choose this chair.' To further cement the impossibility, the chairs immediately adjacent to the chosen one are shown to be empty, reinforcing the idea that this was indeed the only correct selection. It's clean, direct, and incredibly powerful, ensuring your spectator walks away with a memorable souvenir and an unforgettable experience.

Pure, Impromptu Brilliance

What truly sets 'Chairs' apart is its ingenious construction. This routine is entirely impromptu, meaning you don't need elaborate setups or special props. There are absolutely no gimmicks, no subtle switches, and zero forces involved, guaranteeing a truly fair and transparent process for your audience. The spectator even handles the envelope themselves, adding another layer of authenticity to the effect. This purity of method allows you to focus entirely on your presentation, delivering a high-impact illusion with minimal fuss, making it ideal for performers who value directness and undeniable impact.

Expand Your Repertoire

Beyond the primary routine, 'Chairs' offers incredible versatility. Explore an alternative presentation where your spectator might win a $1 bill while all other chairs contain a lavish $100 bill, creating a dramatically different emotional journey for your audience. This digital download isn't just Josh Zandman's brilliance; it also features invaluable contributions from esteemed magicians like Greg Arce, Max Krause, Dr. Todd Landman, and Raj Madhok, providing diverse perspectives and deepening your understanding of the psychological nuances. A bonus routine from Andrew Gerard further enhances this comprehensive package, offering even more performance possibilities.

Available as a convenient PDF digital download, this 12-page guide from its 1st edition in 2010 delivers all the knowledge you need to master this astonishing routine. Transform ordinary chairs into a tool for extraordinary magic!
