A box of Tic Tacs mints transforms into a solid， clear plastic BLOCK. Portable， visceral， unforgettable. Includes several different handlings from low-key to 'full on.' Another gorgeous gimmick hand-crafted by master magic maker Roy Kueppers.
This specially-machined gimmick can be used to create a variety of surprising effects， including the addition of a marvellously VISUAL moment of magic to the Jay's world-wide hit 'HOLY MOLY.'

The PERFECT party deception. Magically 'squeeze' a potato chip out of a factory sealed chip bag， not once， but TWICE. This one's all about the repeat baby.
A mystical sculpture demonstration. Also， a ridiculously practical 'transition piece' involving two items which， though extremely different， could pass as twins. Created to 'rip it up' in restaurants + bars.
A finger ring melts onto a plastic drinking straw that has been tied into several knots BY A SPECTATOR.

"The Gimmicks Lab project is an innovative collection of some of the most creative and practical deceptions I’ve developed in years. There are many things about these ‘special effects’ that make them so special. For starters， I had the opportunity to produce them with master illusion designer， Roy Kueppers. I worked closely with Roy to develop the extremely popular ‘Slyder’ gimmick， and Roy has also shared his rare manufacturing talents with David Roth and Ellusionist. And to guarantee that these effects and gimmicks are as practical and hard-hitting as possible， I also received invaluable feedback from Richard Sanders， Jeff Stone， Mike Skutt， Christopher Kavanagh， Ray Chance and Trent Rentsch. Each of the effects taught on 'THE GIMMICKS LAB' project also involves ‘a new breed of gimmick.’ Gimmicks that are not a substitute for sleight-of-hand， but rather a perfect COMPLIMENT. Gimmicks that are designed to work ingeniously with every day， ordinary objects， items you would normally find lying around at school or work， as well as stuff you would typically carry in your wallet. These are modern effects and gimmicks developed with the power of the ‘unplanned performance’ very much in mind."
