Rediscover Ancient Magic with a Modern Twist

Step into the rich history of magic with 'Magic Video - Endless Cup' by TCC. For millennia, the 'Cups and Balls' has been heralded as one of magic's oldest effects. Yet, our research into the origins of illusion reveals an even more ancient and captivating precursor: the 'Lota Bowl'. Documented as far back as 3000 BC in ancient India, this mystical effect, originally a ceremonial tool, involved a vessel that seemed to produce an unending supply of water. This wasn't merely entertainment; it was a demonstration of apparent miracles. Now, TCC has meticulously resurrected and refined this legendary concept, infusing it with contemporary design and functionality to bring you 'The Endless Cup'.

The Deceptive Simplicity of The Endless Cup

Imagine holding an 'everyday object' – a seemingly 'innocent ceramic coffee cup' – that possesses an extraordinary secret. 'The Endless Cup' is ingeniously crafted to mimic common household drinkware, making its magic all the more astonishing. Despite its unassuming appearance, this remarkable prop can discreetly conceal nearly half a cup of liquid. The genius lies in its ability to dispense this hidden liquid precisely when you desire, creating the illusion of an endless source or an impossible replenishment. This 'Digital Download' isn't just a prop; it's a gateway to mastering a piece of magical history, reimagined for today's discerning performer.

Unlock a Universe of Liquid Illusions

The versatility of 'The Endless Cup' is truly boundless, offering magicians an expansive canvas for creative expression. With this instructional video, you'll learn to execute a dazzling array of liquid-based routines that will leave your audience spellbound. Envision performing the classic self-filling cup, where water mysteriously appears from an empty vessel, time and again. Go beyond the ordinary by incorporating elements like 'three small paper balls', inspired by the masterful 'Rene Lavand'. Make water vanish from the cup only for it to reappear later in your performance, or have an audience volunteer's chosen beverage materialize from nowhere. You can even create the wonder of water transforming into juice, or the unexpected appearance of 'water and live fish'! 'The Endless Cup' empowers you to manipulate reality, turning everyday liquids into instruments of pure enchantment.

Mastering Your Endless Cup Journey

This 'Digital Download' provides comprehensive instruction, guiding you through the nuanced techniques required to master 'The Endless Cup'. What is the oldest effect in Magic? Most magicians would say it is the cups and balls.

We also thought so, until we did some research on this particular product.

The oldest documented form of magic was in ancient India in 3000 BC and it was the effect we now know as the Lota Bowl.

It appears in a form of a jug or kettle made of clay. Water is poured from the jug until the jug is empty, then left aside for a while. When the jug is picked up again, water is then poured from the jug again. This is then repeated again and again... for at least a dozen times.

It is speculated that the original use of the Lota Bowl was not for magic or entertainment, but in ceremonies to seemingly perform miracles. However, over the course of thousands of years, it has gradually become one of the most common props used by magicians.

Once again, we have taken this ancient and classic effect and integrated it with modern style to bring you… The Endless Cup.

Endless Water, Endless possibilities.

The Endless Cup is shaped like an everyday household ceramic cup or coffee cup. It can conceal nearly half a cup of liquid without leaking, and have it flow into the cup whenever you need it to.
The routines you can perform with The Endless Cup include, but are not limited to:

  • The classic self-filling cup/water;
  • Incorporating three small paper balls ala Rene Lavand.
  • Water vanishing from the cup and appearing again in the cup after your performance;
  • The audience volunteers selected beverage appearing in the cup;
  • The appearance of water and fish;
  • Changing water to juice or other beverage.
