The Volume that started it all. The first volume of M-U-M was released in 1911 and so began a great run in magic publishing. This initial volume of M-U-M contained everything you would expect: show reviews, new member and applicant lists, monthly meeting minutes, and an invitation to the the magicians of the world to make their voices heard through contributions to M-U-M. Although it was just beginning, there was still plenty more to include in the volume, including a paper title “Conjuring by Electricity” by G. G. Laurens.
