The Magician shows 8 cards to the spectator. Each card displays adifferent ESP symbol. The Magician lays down the cards， one at a time，on the table and asks the spectator to think of a symbol from one of thecards. After that the Magician shows 2 more cards， each displaying 4 ofthe symbols. The Spectator has to say ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ if they see， ordon’t see， their chosen symbol on the cards. The surprise is that theMagician can tell immediately which of the 8 cards was chosen by thespectator.
