Based in Los Angeles, John Lovick is a multi-talented performer, writer, and theater director. His alias, Handsome Jack, has graced the stage of the Magic Castle in Hollywood for years, earning him a nomination for Parlour Magician of the Year for eleven consecutive years. Widely recognized in the magic community, John is the author of SWITCH: Unfolding the 100 Bill Change and has contributed numerous product reviews and performer profiles to MAGIC and Genii magazines.
John is also the creator of “The Reparation,” a best-selling Torn and Restored Card handling that has captivated magicians worldwide. His collaboration on The Paper Engine with Aaron Fisher and his books on Jon Allen and Steve Mayhew’s magic further cement his legacy as a thought leader in the magic world.
