Description & Effect
Step into a new realm of intuitive performance with 'The Psychic Tarot' by master mentalist Bob Cassidy. This groundbreaking ebook is more than just a guide; it's a complete system and method designed to empower you to deliver deeply personalized and impactful readings, whether you're using tarot or even regular playing cards. Building upon the foundational principles introduced in his acclaimed 'The Real Work of Cold Reading,' Cassidy expands a unique numerological approach into a sophisticated, yet strikingly simple, interpretive framework.
Unlock Intuitive Card Interpretation
Forget the daunting task of memorizing specific meanings for every single card. 'The Psychic Tarot' introduces a brilliantly practical system where card interpretations, especially for the Minor Arcana, are derived by skillfully combining the general meanings of their suits with their numerological values. This innovative method is not only easier to learn and apply but also offers unparalleled flexibility, allowing for nuanced readings that resonate profoundly with your sitter. It's a far more organic and adaptable approach than traditional methods.
Deliver Uniquely Personalized Readings
The core of 'The Psychic Tarot' lies in its presentation as a truly cooperative endeavor between you and your sitter. This collaborative method is engineered to eliminate the need for common, often transparent, 'pumping' techniques that can undermine a reading's credibility. Instead, you'll be guided to construct unique and personalized interpretations tailored precisely to any card layout, fostering a genuine connection and an authentic psychic experience.
Bridge the Gap to 'Hot Reading'
Perhaps the most compelling aspect of this system is its ingenious method for subtly gathering specific, crucial information about your sitter's areas of interest *before* the reading even commences. This sophisticated technique seamlessly bridges the divide between 'cold' and 'hot' reading, providing you with invaluable insights that elevate your performance from mere conjecture to an astonishing display of true psychic connection. Prepare to astound with readings that feel uncannily accurate and deeply personal, all while maintaining the utmost integrity of your presentation. Bob Cassidy's 'The Psychic Tarot' promises to transform your approach to the art of psychic performance.
Original Specs
In Appendix One of The Real Work of Cold Reading Bob included a cursory overview of a numerological system that could also be applied to the tarot or to regular playing cards. In The Psychic Tarot he has expanded on that and provided a detailed system of interpretation that will be accepted by those who have a general familiarity with the cards. As suggested in The Real Work of Cold Reading, the interpretations of the individual cards are derived - with the exception of the Major Arcana - by combining the general meanings assigned to the cards' suits with the numerological meanings assigned to their values. This is not only simpler and more practical than the alternative approach of memorizing a specific interpretation for each card, but more flexible as well.
The Psychic Tarot is both a system and a method. It is presented as a cooperative effort between the you and the sitter, an approach that enables you to give unique and personalized readings from any layout of cards and eliminates the need for the obvious pumping too often employed by inexperienced or inexpert cold readers. Additionally, the presentation incorporates a method that bridges the gap between "cold" and "hot" reading by secretly providing you, before the reading begins, with specific information about the sitter's area of interest.
Part One provides a detailed description of the correspondences that form the basis of The Psychic Tarot system. You should absorb and understand these thoroughly before moving on to the highly improvisational presentation described in Part Two.
