You have a spectator think of a card from the deck. You explain that you are also thinking of a card and that you will teach the spectator how to actually read your mind! Your spectator, using their own thoughts as a 'springboard', mentally develops an image of the card that YOU have in mind. You remove a card from the deck and place it face down on the table.
