Description & Effect
The Ultimate Knight's Tour Masterclass
As acclaimed mentalist David Burmeister exclaimed, 'I will sum up your Knight's Tour routine as follows, IT IS BRILLIANT!' Now, you can unlock the same groundbreaking secret. Developed in the late 1980s by Chris Wasshuber, this revolutionary method empowers you to perform the legendary Knight's Tour with a level of freedom previously thought impossible. Imagine a spectator having a truly free choice for both the starting and ending squares – as long as they are of opposite colors, a mathematical necessity – and you, without hesitation, complete a perfect tour.
Derive, Don't Memorize
This comprehensive manuscript meticulously details a unique system designed to minimize rote memorization. Instead, you'll learn a powerful framework that enables you to derive a complete, proper tour on the spot, adapting to any chosen start and end points. The method's flexibility is astounding; you can often find several distinct tours for a single pair of coordinates. While some memorization is inherently necessary, this system streamlines the process, making it straightforward and practical to execute a flawless Knight's Tour, even under high-pressure conditions. It's the only published method that truly allows for astonishing blindfolded performances, astonishing audiences with your perception without ever seeing the board.
Beyond Mere Memory: A Display of Genius
While mastering this technique requires dedication, it's definitively achievable for anyone of average intelligence. If you've ever tackled memorizing a stacked deck, you possess the mental acumen to conquer this. Wasshuber's method transforms an 'impossible' feat into a manageable skill. More profound than a simple memory demonstration, which can sometimes be dismissed as 'just a good memory,' this Knight's Tour conveys an overwhelming impression of incredible logic, profound mathematical understanding, and sheer intellectual prowess. For two decades, this secret has been guarded, and now it's yours to wield, bringing a truly sophisticated effect to your repertoire.
Exclusive Bonus: The Cassidy No-Memory Solution
As an invaluable addition, this ebook includes a fantastic contribution from the legendary Bob Cassidy himself. "I will sum up your Knight's Tour routine as follows, IT IS BRILLIANT!" - David Burmeister
In the late 1980s I developed a method for the Knight's Tour which allows a spectator a truly free choice for the starting square and ending square of opposite color (same color start and end is mathematically impossible).
This manuscript describes in detail this method. The method attempts to minimize memorization and teaches you a system to derive a proper complete tour on the spot. The method is so flexible that you can find several different tours for one pair of start and end points. Of course, there is some memorization necessary. The method makes it straightforward and practical to derive a complete knight's tour even under high-pressure situations.
It is also the only method published that truly allows you to perform this blindfolded without any sight of the chessboard.
It would be wrong to say this is an easy method to learn, but it is definitely achievable for anybody of average intelligence. If you can memorize a stacked deck of cards, you should be able to learn this method. My method takes an 'impossible' feat and brings it down to a manageable level of difficulty.
Bonus: Bob Cassidy contributed a fantastic idea that eliminates all memorization! A classic Cassidy idea.
My experience is that the effect on spectators is more sophisticated than the one of a giant memory performance. A giant memory is impressive but it is sometimes belittled as "well, he has a good memory". This knight's tour conveys more an effect of incredible logic or mathematical skill than simply a good memory.
I have guarded this secret for two decades. I hope it will bring as much joy to you as it has to me.
