About Chris Mayhew
Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Chris Mayhew’s journey into magic began at the age of thirteen when a local magic shop opened near his home. Mentored by Brent Smith and inspired by Tyler Wilson, Chris quickly developed a passion for creating his own magic. His first publication, “A Clockwork Apple”, was a hit within the magic community and set the stage for his future endeavors.
Now based in Toronto, Chris continues to push the boundaries of magic, blending his skills with his passion for filmmaking. His unique approach and dedication have earned him a reputation as one of the most creative magicians in the industry.

Chris Mayhew was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta Canada. His interest in magic as a kid grew strong after The Vanishing Rabbit Magic Shop opened near his house at the age of thirteen. Eventually the owner, Brent Smith, hired him to help out at the shop, and this is where Chris met Tyler Wilson. Tyler inspired Chris to start creating his own magic.
Chris’ first contribution to the magic community was his Booklet called “A Clockwork Apple”. It was well received within the community and pushed Chris to keep creating. Chris eventually moved to Toronto to pursue his interest in filmmaking.
Chris currently resides in Toronto Ontario Canada, working as a professional magician as he plans for his next project.
