Here’s how it works:
- Take a banknote and fold it in half lengthwise.
- Show the two small plates and slide the note between them.
- The note remains clearly visible through the holes in the plates.
- Zigzag the bill in front of your spectators, creating a jaw-dropping illusion!
How is this possible?
The banknote is still visible, and your spectators haven’t taken their eyes off it!

The bill is undeniably cut in two, and there’s no other explanation! Once you put the two pieces back in the same axis and remove the bill from between the plates, it’s 100% intact. Show the front and back, and the banknote is whole again!
